Following the previous article about the Ayurvedic Medicine – Doshas, now you have at your disposal in this article, one file for download.
This file has a table with a set of indications referring to the particular characteristics of each Dosha: Vata, Pitta, Kapha.
How to read the table:
In the left column of the table, find among others, different physical and emotional characteristics.
In the top row you will find the 3 Doshas
For each one of the characteristics that appear in the column on the left side (physical, emotional, etc.). you must mark only one check box (or put a “true” in the exel file) in Vata, Pitta or Kapha, with which you identify yourself.
– Vata: Slim, bony
– Pitta: Moderate
– Kapha: Large, robust, well-developed
In this case, you must select the item with which you identify (the Dosha Vata, Pitta or Kapha) and not the other two.
Going through the table you should mark the Vata, Pitta or Kapha items, according to what seems appropriate for you. In the end, the graphic will feature a percent indicative of your predominant and secondary characteristic.
From the secondary characteristics, the most important is the one having the biggest percentage level. Only exceptionally, one of the columns Vata, Pitta or Kapha, will have a score of 100%. This happens in people who are exclusively Vata, Pitta or Kapha, being this situation, extremely rare.
Naturally people have a predominant dosha and a secondary. For example:
Predominant Pita, Vata secondary.
Predominantly Kapha, Vata secondary.
This means that the characteristics of these two doshas (physical, emotional, etc..) Will be found in different proportions in the same person.
